A Royal Mommy and Daughter Date

What a night out! Grace and I went on our first mommy/daughter date and we went as princesses. We went to see Disney's Princess Wishes on Ice with some of our friends. It was so much fun. Before the show, Grace got dressed up in her princess dress and I did her hair all fancy for her. She was so excited and it was so funny to see her singing and adoring herself in the mirror while I was curling her hair. She called herself "Princess Cinderella Grace".

Here's a little slide show of the event...

I love my little girl so much. It was really nice to have a night out with just her. I had forgotten what it was like to just give attention to one baby. She was so sweet through the show. Her eyes lit up when new princesses would come out. It was funny too that she was asking where the wicked step mother was, they didn't show her. (She likes me to play that part when she is Cinderella in the tub, I make her scrub the walls.) Toward the end she could tell Cinderella was next, so sweetly she said, "I can't wait for Cinderella!" I loved seeing her be so excited and really get into the show. Another funny thing is that during the drive home, her friend Kaitlin was telling her dad about the show and that the dragon scared her.. well a few minutes later when Grace called Adam, she told him she saw Cinderella and a dragon, and that "It was so cool". I laughed. It's funny how different little girls can be. It's so fun to have had the opportunity to take her to this. She's my little buddy. Thanks Janica for inviting us and hookin' us up with a good deal!

Thanks for going with us! It was seriously SOOO much fun! Kaitlyn later explained to us that she was scared of the green eyes on the dragon. I find it so funny that she was scared of that. At least she wasnt scared when the 7 dwarfs came out...haha! Although I guess Kennedy had something tied to that that was scary for her. :)

What a fun way to spend time with your little girl! She looks adorable in the photos. Where are the pictures of you? Did you get all "dolled-up"? ;)
