Our coop building endeavor:
Putting up the frame and cutting out the holes for the nest box. Kaleb was such a good little helper.
Mounting the nest box. I was very impressed with Adam's idea for a base to hold the weight of the box.
Adding the fun finishing touches that make it look great! I was so happy that we found this tiny window and had a box to put under it. And......TADA! All done!
I'm going to add a cute something to the door too, maybe a rooster since we don't have one. It's so fun! And for a while my kids were able to use it as a club house :) And now I can move my little ladies in... and out of my basement! they like it too!!

Sweet! And oh my goodness the chicks are getting so big! I need to get down there again before they're all grown up. Plus I miss my big sister and wouldn't mind spending another weekend with her amazingness.
