Snow Days!!

Well Thanksgiving came and went. We had a great day visiting with family. And now winter and the Holiday Season is here! We spent the day after Thanksgiving putting up Christmas, a tradition I love. The kids enjoyed decorating the tree. And when the first snow came Adam wasted no time taking the kids out. The next big snow I joined them and we built a silly snowman. Kaleb and Grace love playing in the snow, of course they eat a lot of it too.

We are very excited for Christmas this year. Grace has written her letter to Santa and told him, and everyone else, that she wants a pony named "Sugar". If any of you have seen the pony at Walmart, the large one that moves when you feed and pet it, that is the one she wants... I told her it might be a bit big for Santa. Oh and she says Kaleb wants Hannah Montana!?

Yesterday we took the kids to Temple Square. We rode Trax and they had a blast. It was cold for me, but the kids didn't seem to care. It was a spectacular site. They were excited to see the Nativity with baby Jesus. We tell Grace about the true meaning of Christmas often. She loves the story. Kaleb doesn't sit long enough to hear it, but he likes the baby.

Well I hope you all have a wonderful month. And as crazy as this time of year is I really hope you will find time to focus on the true reason for the season, our Savior, Jesus Christ.
